Conditioned Responses

During childhood we learn how to survive in society. Education, peer groups, parents and families, friends and other cultural factors all play their part in shaping our beliefs and attitudes.

Why is that important? Because we live according to our belief system. Whatever we believe tends to form the basis of the life we create for ourselves.

So...if your life is a piece of *%@# then perhaps your beliefs about yourself need to change.

Changing Attitudes

This is the logical next step. We need to examine how it is that we have been conditioned to believe life is hard. What lessons have we been told that hold us back from a happy life. In this respect hypnotherapy and psycho analysis can be very useful tools. With hypnotherapy we can explore our attitudes and find out the origins of negative attitudes, which can open us up to releasing them and adopting healthy positive attitudes.

To this end I have developed the GEM, or Great Escape Method. This will help you look at your life and answer many questions about how you have come to believe what you do. Then, we examine how to change your life by releasing the pressures that you will be under.

The first of these is security. According to Maslows pyramid of needs, we need food and shelter first and foremost. Anything that threatens the ability to have these, or threatens their removal, will be a major source of stress for us. Thus, the first thing to do is enhance your security, with tools for improving your wealth, both immediately and long term. With a source of income independent of your employer or other source you can stop being affected by workplace stress and start to put an emphasis on living your life without it.

Next step in the process is to deal with your emotional responses. Why is it that you get stressed out? What was the trigger that started it all. This must be dealt with now, so that it does not resurface and cause problems in the future. Freedom from emotional problems will guarantee that you can move on to the next platform. In this second section we will also include dependencies, such as smoking, alcohol, weight etc. Many people are now aware that the reason people are overweight is not necessarily because of a failure to diet, it is due to the beneficial effects of being overweight. The fat acts as a cushion, emotional armour that we keep to protect us from things. Dealing with the original issue will remove the reason to be overweight, and then improvements will happen. In talking to the unconscious mind we can address all of these issues and find results.

The third part of the process will teach you how to connect with the real you, the one that has been hidden by all the teaching and conditioning of the past, the you that is wanting to come out and enjoy life. Meditation and self discovery is the key to this stage with any discoveries coming from deep within.
